Opac vs Opac

The GRR library OPAC I found was less favorable then the St. Cloud State on. They both have the little search bar to help you find things but that is where the similarities end. State's section has all those add ons on the side to help specify your search even lower and the GRRL just wants your keyword. When using the GRRL one the first time I ended up with about 1171 results, after a few minutes of trying to figure out how to narrow it down I ended up getting about 71, then the top books were still not anything to do with my subject so I narrowed it down again and got 1 result, unfortunately this result was also not helpful. Maybe it is the fact that State will have more educational books but I'm not so sure. To wrap this up I definitely like the one our school set up more.

I'll Settle for a Slowdown

It seems that ever since this second semester started things have been moving way too fast. With the ongoing studies that never seem to end or give you a break what so ever, mixed with all the other things I have going on. My days are always busy, I am always tired now and things are just overwhelming. I know that I just have to keep pushing through all of it though and value those weekends baby.

Research update

I talked to my organization and we are feeling really optomistic about this project. The big part to it now is just get into it. We have to start figuring out what is the best way to tackle the lack of members.
